About
David (Dave) Beecher,started cleaning windows when he was going to college back in the 80’s. That summer he was looking for a job and his best friend Nathan was on his way to Alaska to work on a fishing boat. Dave was feeling pretty low. Nathan said “Here’s my window cleaning tools Dave, see what you can do with them.” That was an awful big challenge for a young guy back then. Over the next few days Nathan showed Dave some of his techniques and Dave was off and running.
Dave first cleaned his mom’s windows, then she referred him to the neighbor lady and the neighbor lady referred him to her friend, and Dave has been taking care of referrals ever since.
Over the years Dave and his team of window cleaners have cleaned windows in many different places. His professional window cleaning team took care of the Timberline Lodge on Mt Hood Oregon from 1990- 2010. His professional high-rise team took care of many tall residential buildings in Portland Oregon over the years. And Dave himself has provided window cleaning service to hundreds of residential homes in the Portland Vancouver area.
But then along came the dreaded Covid and we were unable to access the buildings, so that enterprise ended.
As a micro Business owner Dave has personally worked with a lot of different window cleaners. Everyone has his own style and technique and Dave has been fortunate to learn as much from his assistants as they learned from him.
All along Dave has been the “Inside Guy”. Just being inside is a skill in itself. A lot of people have entrusted Dave with their homes and by experience Dave has learned to provide that first class service that discerning clients demand.
Dave’s handle is “The Original Window Shaman. He has been calling himself that for several years now. Dave came up with the idea when he first started studying Crystals, and Sound, and Light healing modalities with the local Woo community. This led Dave to research the different facets of crystals and tones by experimenting with his window cleaning solution.
All that is behind him now, but these researches developed into the professional window cleaning fluid Dave uses every day to create the glamorous results he achieves.
There are a lot of interesting aspects to windows that make them hard to define. Especially when we see them every time we look around. But people don’t see them, usually. That is just one of the funny characteristics of windows. Over the course of his career Dave has studied the way windows frame the visual moment. He has especially observed how windows interact with the flow of creative energy moving through the living spaces inside and outside of our homes. All this just to say, Dave believes clean windows are essential for a well balanced living environment.
The one aspect Dave especially enjoys about window cleaning, is the way Clean windows bring the glamour back to the home, one room at a time. It seems almost magical. Glamour is a beautiful thing to see, to live in and enjoy. And not easy to achieve. Surprisingly, a large part of the magic of window cleaning is the fact that by washing the windows, order is restored o the room, the odors are also removed from the glass and cleared from the room. This allows the fragrances of the colognes on the counter and the energy of fresh flower arraignments to fill the room with natures elegance and returns that clean fresh finish to a well kept home.
